EARLY YEARS.
Born on December 8, 1993, in Fultondale, Alabama, ArDarius Stewart was a standout multi-sport athlete before ultimately focusing on football. A dynamic quarterback-turned-receiver at Fultondale High School, Stewart dominated on the field, amassing over 2,000 all-purpose yards in his senior season. His performance earned him a four-star recruit ranking, leading him to commit to Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide, one of the most prestigious programs in college football.
COLLEGE CAREER.
After redshirting his freshman year in 2013, Stewart quickly became an essential part of Alabama’s offense. By 2015, he was a key contributor in Alabama’s 16th national championship run, finishing the season with 63 receptions for 700 yards. His junior year, he emerged as the team’s leading receiver, posting 864 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns. With his stock rising, Stewart declared for the 2017 NFL Draft, betting on his talent at the next level.
NFL JOURNEY.
Stewart was selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, making his dream of playing in the league a reality. As a rookie, he played in 15 games, recording 6 catches for 82 yards on 13 targets. However, an ankle injury in 2018 limited his opportunities to establish a larger role with the team.
Determined to continue his career, he had brief stints with the Oakland Raiders and Washington Football Team (formerly the Redskins). He signed a two-year contract with Washington, but front-office issues impacted his standing with the team. Stewart later learned that he had been made “an example”, highlighting the unpredictable nature of professional football.

While his time in the NFL was shorter than anticipated, Stewart refuses to let his legacy be defined solely by his playing career. His experiences—both triumphant and challenging—have fueled his passion for mentoring the next generation of athletes. Through Sports University, he is committed to helping high school, Division I, and professional athletes develop superior skills, mental toughness, and the knowledge to navigate the business of sports.
