When to Seek Immediate Medical Attention.

✅ Severe pain, swelling, or bruising that worsens over time.

✅ Inability to bear weight on a limb or use a joint normally.

✅ A popping or snapping sound at the time of injury (possible ligament tear).

✅ Joint instability or deformity (dislocation, fracture).

✅ Head injury with dizziness, nausea, confusion, or loss of consciousness.

✅ Numbness, tingling, or weakness in the limbs (possible nerve damage).

✅ Excessive bleeding or an open wound exposing bone/muscle.

Common Severe Injuries That Require Emergency Care:

✅ Complete ligament tears (ACL, Achilles rupture, MCL).

✅ Fractures and suspected broken bones.

✅ Dislocations that need medical realignment.

✅ Concussions with worsening symptoms.

✅ Internal injuries (suspected organ damage, blood in urine).
