3-POINT STANCE.
The video above explains how to get into a 3-Point Stance. Use the following steps to get into your stance:
- Stand with feet slightly more than shoulder-width apart.1,2,3
- Squat down, resting forearms on thighs.
- Extend Left, Right, or both (4-Point Stance) out at about a 45° angle to the ground.
- Roll over onto balls of feet, placing fists or palms down into the ground.
1Your feet should always be in line with your knees.
2If you’re putting your Left hand down, you should drop your Left foot back. In doing so, the toes of your Left foot should be parallel to your right midfoot and or heel.
3If you’re putting your Right hand down, you should drop your Left foot back. In doing so, the toes of your Right foot should be parallel to your Left midfoot and or heel.
2-POINT STANCE.
Use the following steps to get into your 2-Point Stance:
- Stand with feet slightly more than shoulder-width apart.1,2,3
- Squat down, resting forearms on thighs.
1Your feet should always be in line with your knees.
2If you are playing on the Left side of the line, you may be required to drop your Left foot back (parallel to your Right midfoot and or heel.
3If you are playing on the Right side of the line, you may be required to drop your Right foot back (parallel to your Left midfoot and or heel.
