Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) is caused by microscopic tears in muscle from intense training and exercise.
✅ Typically, athletes will experience inflammation and delayed pain 24-48 hours after training and exercise.
✅ Left untreated, muscle soreness can and will become the cause of Acute Sports Injuries.
✅ For Chronic Muscle Soreness, seek immediate medical attention. Chronic Muscle Soreness refers to any area of the body that is always sore, regardless of the recovery techniques implemented.
